Cartridge Holders

A wide range of models are available. All use DieMark® disposable cartridges. Some models are used in Xandex inker bases while others are specifically designed to retrofit other marking brands. Retrofit of an existing inker is an inexpensive way to utilize the convenience and reliability of DieMark® cartridges.

  • Aluminum construction
  • High temperature 12 or 24 volt coils with heat sink
  • Cartridge spring clip
  • Sturdy 6 or 7 mil spring plungers with retaining clip
  • All models use DieMark® disposable ink cartridges

Plunger Stop Assembly

The 3-mil and 5 mil DM-1 cartridge requires a very short plunger stroke in order to minimize the amount of ink flow to the filament tip and ensure consistent, problem free performance. In order to shorten the plunger stroke when using the 5 mil DM-1 application, the cartridge holder must be retrofitted with a Plunger Stop Assembly. This assembly is available for all H series cartridge holders. After the cartridge holder is retrofitted with the plunger stop assembly, it can still be used with any DM-1 cartridge size as long as the plunger stop is backed off completely to allow full plunger travel.

DM-1 Ink Cartridges

Electric inkers utilize DieMark® cartridges for the ultimate inking solution. DieMark® cartridges offer reliable, consistent, trouble free operation with the benefit of a disposable unit. Pre-filled factory tuned cartridges are easy to use - no adjusting, refilling or cleaning. All inks utilized in the cartridges have been selected to produce consistent dots over a wide range of speeds without dripping, or skipping. Three needle configurations are available to afford optimal visual/physical inker clearance.

  • Large capacity reservoir for unattended multi-shift inking
  • Reliable soft contact inking - no damage to the wafer
  • Three needle types: DM-1 (.75"), DM-1.25 (1.25") and DM-S (curved)
  • Dot sizes 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 25, 30 mil
  • Low containment, heat set, air dry, phenolic and epoxy type inks
